My name is Deborah Wolsh and I am a real estate agent with Morgan Real Estate at Keller Williams Larchmont. One of my favorite parts of real estate is that I get to see the new homes that come on the LA market every Tuesday on the broker's caravan. The purpose of this blog is to highlight my favorites and give you the chance to see them too!

If you are interested in buying a home and/or would like more information on any of the properties shown on this blog, please contact me, Deborah Wolsh, at Deborah@morgan-re.com or call me at (310) 433-0385.

Sweet Spots in Hancock Park, Beverlywood & Faircrest Heights

This Tuesday I was fortunate enough to start the day at our own listing in the Hancock Park area and experience the flip side of broker's open caravan, welcoming the many agents that came thru to preview the house for their clients.  The house is a magnificent restored craftsman style home, impecibly restored by the owner in a way like no other.  Today was my second opportunity to host an open house there - it's endlessly fun to see how everyone that tours this home reacts to how special it is.
Striking Exterior
only gets better inside
As you go through this home every room gets even better
You won't find a kitchen like this in any other house

all custom wood work

office/library

adjacent sunroom - the perfect place to work

Romantic Master with open rafter ceiling
built in day bed - one of my favorite places in the house
bathroom restored true to period
serene backyard
Barn doors open up to the patio on the back house
...which is complete with kitchenette and bath
koi pond in back yard - absolultely equisite

About an hour later I had the chance to slip away and check out some other open houses.  I actually made it to six.  Here's a few favorites:

Over in Beverlywood, I found this cozy 2 bedroom/2 bath Spanish style house listed for $926,000
welcoming spanish tiled steps
Beautiful beamed ceiling and fireplace in the living room
formal dining room with recessed ceiling
Updated kitchen - there was also a adjacent cozy family room (not shown)
Al Fresco dining area and enclosable artist studio
flagstone patio with covered arbor and gardens
A little further South, also in Beverlywood, I was keen on this quaint, nicely preserved spanish style 2 bedroom, 2 bath  for $795,000.

Beautiful tiled front courtyard

enchanting courtyard arches
large living room with stained glass window
1940's tiled bath

Last, and probably my most favorite (aside from our house) was this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom remodeled Traditional for $819,000 in Picfair Village.
Picture perfect Traditional on the outside
decorated with flair on the inside

Hardwood floors throughout
Updated kitchen with nicely preserved original details
3 Full Baths all with high quality finishes

Great entertainment deck and detached Bonus Room or "Man Cave"

I only gave myself an hour to see other houses, but luckily I was able to pack it all in.  I circled back to Hancock Park in time for the last half hour at our own open house.  It was exciting to be back at this wonderful house - it was full of buyers who were lingering there and it seemed clear to me that whoever buys it will be a lucky person; every time they come home they'll get to have the same wonderful feeling I had at the end of my day!

Remember, if you are intersted in any of these properties or in buying or selling a home, please contact me, Deborah Wolsh at 310-433-0385 or email deborah@morgan-re.com.  Until next Tuesday.......
